Now that in the last 2 blogs, we were checking the prices of Nokia Lumia, another mobile phone that caught my attention was Samsung Omnia W I8350.

But before we discuss about that phone, I want to talk about the growth of Samsung phones over Nokia phones.

Though Nokia remains the market leader in India with a 39 per cent share, its dominance is quite evidently under pressure. According to industry sources, Nokia's market share was 37.5 per cent in January-July 2011. Its market share stood at 49.3 per cent in 2010. Samsung's market share, on the other hand, has increased to 28 per cent in first seven months. In 2010, Samsung's had a market share of 20.1 per cent. In terms of monthly shipment also, Samsung has grown its base at a much faster pace than others. The growth can be largely attributed to the impressive and diverse portfolio of handsets right from entry-level to the high-end segment. The ‘Wave’ series and the ‘Galaxy S’ series has been a great success for Samsung. Samsung continues to launch new product lines at regular intervals across all segment and on all operating systems such as Android, Windows and Bada. Samsung is also doing well at the tablets front and can be considered as the only worthy rival for the Apple juggernaut!

Price Challenge: Nokia Lumia 800

Hi guys.

For those who were still in a hangover state after the new year party and did not read my yesterday’s blog, I wish you all, a very Happy new year.

For some (in fact many), 31 Dec of a year means a day of partying and hanging around and going around in pubs or restaurants and getting wasted after some drinks and alcohol.

Price Challenge: Nokia Lumia 710

Believe me, its a challenge in itself, besides finding the sabsecheapest price for a product online, to think and find a product for review on the first day of the year. 

First of all, I wish everyone a very Happy and prosperous New Year 2012 and wish success for all of you guys. I wish you guys keep following our blog and keep finding the best and definitely the sabsecheapest price for your desirable goods online. 
As i said before, at the start of the blog, it was not at all easy to pick a product, for review on the very first day of the year. I have been thinking for the last 2 days, what should I choose to review and write about. At that moment i had my Nokia E71 in my hands and thought that, i should write about a Nokia phone; a company, which i have used since i began starting using phones. Though for some time, i did have a Siemens phone, but sadly it got lost and i came back to using my new Nokia phone.

Continuing to sit in the calm and discreet space of the books, I have selected another book for the sabsecheapest review today.

Books brings so much comfort to the human being, and the person drifts away from all the complications and concerns which have become a part of today’s human life. There were times when I used to sit for hours at a lunch or after dinner reading a book and never used to worry about the time and was so engrossed that hours went by without even thinking of anything else except the characters in the novel. A good book or a novel; has the ability to take a person away to a different world where he is the not the main protagonist, where thinks happen to someone else and revolves around a different person for a change, where you get to be the GOD who sees everything getting unfolded but still making you feel the pain, the happiness, the laughter and the sadness in the emotions of these someone else.

Hello friends.

While going through my blogs about the Sabsecheapest price, I realized that much of the last blogs have focused on the latest smart phones and gadgets and were completely techy oriented.

So I thought that today I will deviate from that techy environment of ours and may be drift towards a much sober and relaxed space of the BOOKS.

I remember, some days back I came across a book which, though I didn’t read, but caught my attention. I wrote down the name somewhere and though that may be in coming days I will definitely come back to this one and search more stuff around.

The name of the book was THE HELP, by Kathryn Stockett.

Now if you guys don’t know the author Kathryn Stockett, then definitely it’s not your mistake as this was her debut book.

Price Challenge: Dell Streak

Considering the fact that I am reviewing and helping everyone find the sabsecheapest price of the Dell Smart phones these days, I won’t let this chance pass by without talking about my life at Dell or if I may passionately call it PerotSystems (though formerly). Initial days at PerotSystems, like any other Software Services company, were like a Honeymoon period or if I can say as, an extension of the college days. Sessions were missed, morning movie shows, Tennis, AOE and CS all through the day and till the wee hours, planning of the outstation trips and definitely the GYAAN from the Academy guys of how important these training sessions are and how much harm and damage, this inconsiderate behavior of ours can do to our career; this pretty much summed up the first 6 months at the company. Dell Venue Pro

I continue to work in Dell and so these Dell Phones continue to remain my favorites and thus continues the review of these Dell Smart phones and the search for the sabsecheapest price. 

Talking about Dell, the first thing that comes to my mind is PerotSystems, which was actually the company I worked for. Dell thought of entering into the technology services industry (considering the saturation in the hardware industry and also taking cue from HP foraying into the services business) and thus happened the buyout of PerotSystems by Dell Inc. 

Getting back to the business of hunting down the sabsecheapest price, I took up today another of the Dells Smart phones series – Dell Venue Pro

Before I start discussing the phone specifics and start digging into the technical stuff, I want to make an honest confession. Among all the queries, reviews and price discount questions I have been getting, being a Dell employee, maximum have been targeted at Dell Venue Pro.

This phone features a 4.1” AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel auto-focus camera, 8GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM, GPS, FM Radio and full Flash support including playback.

With its angular cutouts, chrome trim plated sides, and sturdy pattered plastic rear casing, everything about the Dell Venue is characteristically appealing to look at and hold. Even though it’s not the slimmest (0.51” thick) or most compact (5.78 oz) thing we've seen, it’s nevertheless able to capture my attention with its refined design elements.
